By appointment with Sister Tudor
Most days by appointment. This practice nurse clinic is for monitoring patients who are established on medication
For any patients at risk of developing heart disease or those with existing problems. Wednesday afternoons with Sister Rocca and Dr Graham, by appointment
All new patients registering with the practice are offered a health promotion check-up with the practice nurse. You are advised to attend if you are new to us, as this helps us to obtain any relevant medical history before your medical records arrive from your previous doctors, which can sometimes take a few weeks
Non-NHS work is also provided and includes insurance medicals, HGV and PSV medicals, private certification, signing of passports, driving licences etc, and other services not covered by the NHS.
There will be a charge for these services. Please ask at reception for details or see the practice information notice board.
If you are waiting for results of any recent tests, please telephone the surgery after 3.00pm.
Please bear in mind that reception staff are not medically qualified and are not allowed to give out specific information regarding test results, and will only be able to inform you whether the doctor has seen the result, if it has been filed as ‘normal’, or if the doctor wishes to see you to discuss the results.
Staff are not allowed to give any results to anyone other than the patient. Only in exceptional circumstances will reception staff give any results to relatives (eg. Spouse, parent etc.)
For deaf people and those heard of hearing, a telephone service is available on 0845 606 4647.
If English is not your preferred language, you can choose to use a confidential translation service.
As well as our practice, there are many other local NHS services you can contact for health advice, information or treatment.
Your local pharmacist will be able to give you free health advice at any time - you don't need an appointment. Many pharmacies operate extended hours on a rota basis. Call NHS '111' for details.
